Albert Otero Romero, born January 14, 1940, in Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on December 30, 2025, in his hometown of Phoenix. A dedicated professional and United States Army Veteran, Albert’s life was marked by commitment, service, and a resolute “get it done” approach to every challenge.

Albert proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a Private First Class in the United States Army. An Indirect Fire Infantryman (Mortarman) with Airborne Qualification, he expertly executed demanding tasks including parachuting from military aircraft, operating mortars, navigating the field, and managing communications and mine deployment. Honorably discharged, Albert’s military accomplishments exemplify his courage and discipline.

After his military service, Albert continued to serve his community in Phoenix as a Parking Meter Supervisor, where he was known for his dependable work ethic and meticulous attention to detail. A high school graduate, he carried a practical and straightforward mindset throughout his career, always focused on efficiency and results.

Albert’s life will be commemorated with an inurnment ceremony held on April 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., concluding at 11:00 a.m., at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona located at 23029 North Cave Creek Road in Phoenix, AZ 85024. This service honors his sacrifice and dedication both as a veteran and a valued member of the local community.
