Davaress Davon Bolden, a devoted teacher, mentor, and leader, passed away on March 21, 2026, in Surprise, Arizona. Born on December 26, 1983, in Knob Noster, Missouri, Davaress embraced life with an outgoing spirit and an unwavering dedication to uplifting those around him.

Raised in a family marked by frequent moves due to his father’s military service, Davaress experienced the richness of diverse cultures and communities throughout his youth. He completed his high school education before committing himself to a career in teaching, where he found his true calling. Passionate about imparting knowledge and guiding young lives, he was deeply respected for his ability to connect, inspire, and lead by example.

Davaress reveled in sports, particularly football and basketball, where he not only played but also cherished coaching others—his proudest accomplishments being his roles as teacher, coach, and mentor. Beyond the classroom and the playing field, he enjoyed travels to Mexico, had a fondness for the color red, loved pizza, and found solace and joy in listening to music.

He will be remembered fondly by his beloved wife, Jennifer Bolden, and their children, Tre Romero, Tiana Escalante-Bolden, and Zion Bolden. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Jayden Bolden, Javion Bolden, Anjalov Bolden, and Willou Bolden, along with his parents, Willie Bolden Jr. and Therasa Bolden, his stepmother, Anjail Salahudin Bolden, and his grandmother, Betty Lynn.

Davaress’s family also mourns the loss of his uncle, Phillip McCray, and his grandfather, Preston Parker.

The community will gather to honor his life during a funeral service at CCV Church, located at 14787 West Cholla Street, Surprise, Arizona 85379, on April 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
