Holly Sue Frederick, born on November 1, 1973, in Phoenix, Arizona, departed this world suddenly and unexpectedly on December 16, 2025. A beacon of warmth and kindness, Holly was a second-generation hair stylist, channeling her creativity and passion for beauty from the tender age of 20 until her untimely passing. She dedicated her professional life to the art of hairstyling, initially following in the footsteps of her mother at "Santa Fe Salon" in Sun City, Arizona, and subsequently spending a decade at "Great Clips" in North Phoenix, where she became well-known for her exceptional skill and compassionate approach to her clients.
An alumna of Trevor Brown High School in Phoenix, Holly not only earned her high school diploma but also became a licensed and certified cosmetologist, proudly holding a degree in Cosmetology. Her spirit resonated beyond the salon; she was deeply committed to climate activism, reflecting her vibrant belief in preserving the earth for future generations.
Holly was not merely defined by her career but by the profound love she felt for her family and the values she cherished. Raised in Tolleson, Arizona, she met the love of her life, Stephen Michael Hudak, whom she married in 1992. Their bond was a testament to their shared passion for life, adventure, and mutual support, enhanced by the joy of traveling to various locations, including their favorite haunt in Paradise Valley.
She leaves behind her beloved children, Jackie Sue Frederick, Stephen Gauge Frederick, and Leland Asa Frederick. Each of them carries forward her legacy of compassion, kindness, and artistic spirit.
Holly was distinguished not only for her professional achievements but also for the vibrant personality that illuminated every room she entered. A very spiritual individual, she maintained a deep affinity for animals, embodying kindness and generosity in her everyday life. Her favorite colors—purple, pink, and black—echoed her colorful spirit, while her tastes in Italian cuisine and music, particularly the evocative sounds of Nahko Bear & Medicine For the People, reflected her zest for life’s pleasures.
Though she has been separated from those who loved her, her gentle heart and indomitable spirit remain alive in the memories of her family and friends. Among them, she is cherished and missed beyond measure. As she journeys forward into the unknown, we remember Holly Sue Frederick for the light she brought into our lives—a true embodiment of love, caring, and enthusiasm that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
