A thirty-year resident of Arizona, she made Avondale her beloved home, where she peacefully departed on June 9, 2026.

Isabel’s life was one devoted to nurturing the minds and spirits of the youngest in our community. As a Kindergarten teacher, she embodied patience, warmth, and extraordinary care, shaping the early experiences of countless children. Her passion for education was underscored by her attainment of a Bachelor's Degree, a testament to her commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.

Her presence was a beacon of comfort and joy to those around her, especially to her devoted husband, Miguel Hernandez, who survives her and cherishes her memory. Together, they shared a life enriched by love and resilience in the heart of Arizona, where Isabel spent three fulfilling decades contributing to the fabric of the community.

A memorial service to honor Isabel’s remarkable life will be held at the Avenidas Funeral Chapel, located at 522 E Western Ave, Avondale, Arizona 85323, on May 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. This gathering will offer all who knew her the opportunity to celebrate her enduring legacy, her gentle spirit, and the profound impact she made as a devoted educator and loving companion.
