Jenny Garcia (née Doumert), beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished member of the Tempe and Phoenix communities, passed away unexpectedly on July 5, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 6, 1951, in Tempe, Arizona, and was 74 years old at the time of her passing.

Jenny was the daughter of the late Jesus Doumert and Antonia Doumert. Throughout her life, she carried with her the values and lessons instilled by her parents, whose memories she always treasured. Jenny's legacy continues in the love she freely gave to her family, her resilience, and the warmth she extended to all who knew her.

Jenny’s greatest pride and source of joy were her three children: Raymond Martinez, Joseph Martinez, and Amy Leyvas. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she encouraged her children in all their endeavors, providing a foundation built on love and support. Jenny was also the proud grandmother of Michael, Alexis, Gabriel, Olivia, Corina, Jasmine, and Uriel. She cherished every opportunity to share in their lives, offer guidance, and attend their significant milestones.

Jenny had strong familial bonds with her siblings, Rudolph, Susana, Sandra, Michael, and Teresa. As a sister, she was a confidante, support system, and lifelong friend. The closeness that Jenny maintained with her siblings created a network of love and mutual respect that has become a hallmark of her family’s story.

A Celebration of Life in honor of Jenny Garcia will be held on August 29, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 3109 N 24th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
