It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Ms. Maria Irene Ruiz, 82, of Phoenix, AZ. She passed away on July 17, 2026 surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren.
Maria was the oldest of 5 children born to Adolfo Ruiz and Evangelina Martinez in Eden, Texas. She later moved to Cashion, where she raised a loving and beautiful family.
She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly carried in the hearts of all who new and loved her.
Services will be held at Avenidas Funeral Chapel located at, 522 E Western ave, Avondale, AZ 85232.
The services will be beginning at 9am, Thursday, July 30th at Avenidas Funeral Chapel.
Graveside Services to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery located on the corner of 99th Avenue and Thomas Road in Avondale.
