Marla Ann Wahl

On May 30th, 2026, Marla Ann Wahl passed away peacefully surrounded by those who loved her. Born August 24th, 1953 in Los Angeles California, Marla adored the love of her life Roger Elwood who will forever cherish her memories.

She is survived by one sister Cynthia Halberg (John) and is preceded in death by her Mother Margaret Ann Sever and many good friends.

Marla built a life of determination, connection, and generosity that she enjoyed being a minimalist. Her passion for nature, places, and cultures leaves behind a lasting impact on her family, friends and the many lives she touched through her kindness and service.

Marla retired from North Memorial Hospital moving to Arizona. She was an voracious reader. Music remained an integral part of her life and brought her great joy. Marla was involved in dog and horse rescue.

A private celebration of life & burial service is planned in the future
