Susan “Sue” Kay (Martindale) Lehman, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on October 3,

2026 at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona.

Susan loved the Lord Jesus Christ, was eternally grateful for the salvation she had through Him,

and desired to glorify Him with her life. She looked forward to the day when she would be

sitting face-to-face with Him and rejoicing to worship Him for all eternity.

Susan loved her husband, Tim, her children, Michayla, Philip, Samuel, and Hannah Grace, and

their spouses, Christopher, Hannah Meijing, Juliette, and Akinola, as well her darling grandson,

Isaac. They brought her abundant joy, and being a mom and nana was the highlight of her life.

Susan enjoyed hiking, reading, doing Bible studies and game nights with her friends from her

church, and serving in her community.

Susan was preceded in death by her father Richard “Dick” Martindale. She is survived by her

husband, Timothy Lehman; her children, Michayla (Christopher) Nester, Philip (Hannah Meijing)

Lehman, Samuel (Juliette) Lehman, Hannah Grace (Akinola) Olambiwonnu; and her grandson,

Isaac. She is also survived by her mom, Madeline Martindale; her three siblings, Richard

Martindale, Cathy (John) Heppler, and Gary (Sandy) Martindale, as well as 7 nieces and

nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Susan’s life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Susan’s memory

to Licking County Food Pantry (Newark, Ohio), Heartbeats (Newark, Ohio), The Arthur G. James

Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (Columbus, Ohio), and the Banner MD
